Environmental friendly waterless gunning mud
Environmentally friendly anhydrous gun mud is a refractory material used to seal the tap hole. It can be divided into two categories: water gun mud and anhydrous gun mud. The former is used in the medium where the top pressure is low and the degree of strengthening smelting is not high. , Small blast furnace, the latter is used in large and medium blast furnaces with high top pressure and high degree of intensified smelting.
The composition of environment-friendly anhydrous gun mud can be divided into two parts-refractory aggregate and binder. Refractory aggregate refers to refractory raw materials such as corundum, mullite, and coke gemstones, and modified materials such as coke and mica. The binding agent is organic materials such as water or tar pitch and phenolic resin, and is also mixed with SiC, Si3N4, expansion agents and additives [i]. The aggregate is composed of a matrix according to a certain particle size and weight, and it has a certain degree of plasticity under the adjustment of the binder, so that the molten iron can be blocked by the mud gun.
Main functions of gun Mud:
1. Blocking the taphole requires the gun mud to have good filling and sintering properties.
2. Stable tapping, requires gun mud to be easy to open the taphole and resistant to erosion and scour.
3. To protect the hearth, it is required that the gun mud has no cracks when it is heated quickly, and the bonding strength of the new and old gun mud is high;
4. The opening performance is good, the opening machine bit is easy to drill.
5. Moderate plasticity, convenient for mud gun operation and formation of iron mouth mud bag.
6. Good volume stability, small volume change at high temperature, no molten iron leakage due to shrinkage.
Advantages of anhydrous gun mud:
1. High strength, and maintaining the stability of the blast furnace conditions (the depth of the taphole, the fluctuation of the tapping time, the rate of full air clogging, etc.) is of great significance, so that the blast furnace has a basis for increasing production.
2. Strong slag resistance. The unit consumption of cannon mud is low, generally one-fifth of water cannon mud.
3. Has a certain expansion performance. With suitable porosity and strength, it can be used in large blast furnaces over 2000m.
This product has the advantages of easy plugging, good opening, no dense smoke, no splashing, erosion resistance, etc. It has been used in Shagang's 2580m³, 1280m³ blast furnace, Fujian Sanbao Steel's 1280m³, 580m³ blast furnace, Shaanxi Iron and Steel, Hanzhong Steel's 2580m³, 1280m³ and other projects.
