Tabular Alumina

key word:

Sintered Tabular Alumina

Aluminun oxide

Description

Sintered Tabular Alumina is a kind of high purity alumina as raw materials, pure, without adding any additives and burning into shrinkage of the sintered corundum thoroughly. It has coarse crystal structure and well-developed Al2O3 crystal structure, Al2O3 content is more than 99%. Technically, it has high fire resistance, good volume stability, excellent thermal shock resistance, creep resistance and spalling resistance. Widely used in steel, casting, petrochemical, ceramics, glass and other industries of high performance refractory materials. Economically, it has the advantages of stable source of raw materials, energy saving and environmental protection in the generation process, and high cost performance.

      Tabular Alumina

      The characteristics of tabular alumina:

      1. refractories greater than 1800 degrees, its melting point as high as 2050 degrees.

      2. It has large crystal and well-developed α-Al2O3 crystal structure, which greatly improves the creep resistance of tabular alumina.

      3, plate crystal structure, small open porosity, low porosity, low water absorption; Internal closed pores, thermal shock resistance, anti - spalling performance.

      4, because the production process does not add any additives, so that high purity, good volume stability, reburning shrinkage is relatively small.

      Application of tabular alumina:

      1, tabular alumina is widely used in steel, casting, petrochemical, breathable brick, ladle lining, castable, prefabricated parts, ceramics and other categories of refractory materials, is an excellent synthetic refractory raw material;

      2, tabular alumina is an ideal refractory raw material, can be used as aggregate in a variety of aluminum refractory materials, can also be added to other aluminum amorphous refractory materials;

      3. tabular alumina is used as a sliding nozzle for pouring steel, smelting rare metals, special alloys, high metals, glass wire drawing, crucible and vessels for making laser glass;

      4. It is widely used in electric vacuum; Corundum insulation material, widely used in various high temperature furnace wall and furnace top, both high temperature resistance and heat preservation.

      Sizes: 0-1mm,1-3mm,3-5mm,5-8mm,100mesh,200mesh,325mesh etc.

      Note: Particle size distribution can be produced according to customer usage requirements.

      The use of tabular alumina in refractory materials

      1. Sliding nozzle (good thermal shock stability is the preferred requirement of refractory materials for sliding nozzle)

      2. Ladle castable (aluminum magnesium spinel system castings with sintered tabular alumina and spinel as the main material are used for bottom or wall coating, and magnesia carbon brick is used for slag line, which is the basic mode used for large and medium-sized ladle refractory materials at present)

      3. Prefabricated parts (such as breathable brick, block brick, spray gun, impact plate, etc.; The composite use of sintered tabular alumina, spinel and other refractory materials can improve the thermodynamic performance of refractory materials more effectively, that is, improve the wear and erosion resistance)
