Metallographic Cut-off Wheel 350×2.5×32mm WA80 – Product Manual

Overview: Luoyang Weixiang Abrasives Co., Ltd. manufactures precision cut-off wheels for metallographic sample preparation. The 350×2.5×32mm WA80 wheel features white fused alumina (WA) abrasive with resin bond, designed for laboratory cut-off machines.

Specifications: 350mm diameter × 2.5mm thickness × 32mm bore; White Fused Alumina abrasive; 80 grit; Resin bond; Type T41; ≥50m/s linear speed; 25 pcs/box.

Material & Process: High-purity WA abrasive provides stable self-sharpening for ferrous metals. High-strength resin bond ensures minimal heat generation and low heat-affected zone. 2.5mm thin design reduces material loss.

Applications: Suitable for carbon steel, alloy structural steel, tool steel, bearing steel (annealed), and cast iron within HRC 20-45 range. For HRC >50 hardened steels, chromium alumina or monocrystalline alumina wheels are recommended.

Key Features: Sharp cutting with minimal breakage; Low heat-affected zone preserving sample microstructure; Dry and wet cutting compatible; Consistent cut quality with minimal burr.

Usage Guidelines: Inspect wheel for cracks before use; Do not use damaged wheels. Mount with proper flanges, tighten evenly without excessive force. Run at idle for 1 minute before cutting. Secure specimen firmly. Feed uniformly without forcing. Maintain continuous coolant supply for wet cutting. Wear eye protection; maintain ≥50cm safe distance from wheel.

Storage: Store in dry, frost-free conditions away from moisture and temperature extremes. Keep flat, do not expose to alkalis. Use FIFO, observe expiration date.

Customization: Custom dimensions, abrasive types, grit sizes, and packaging available. Standard lead time 3-7 working days; custom orders 15-30 working days.
